Moving around Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing a personal life that includes being a father and having two ex-wives. This has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book “The Brass Verdict”.

Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal terms. Personalized California plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have at least eight.
Definitely worth a watch
The story is perhaps a little predictable, but that doesn’t make it worse. Some twists and turns as is typical for the genre.
I like the portrayal of family and work dynamics
For those who have seen the movie, the TV series may seem a little lighter in its interpretation, however it is still interesting… worth watching.
