Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for her innocence and her life after she stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo in his first starring role. lost on the road. As a fan of wild murder mystery limited series, the concept intrigued me. However, it seems like it was originally written as a multi-season show but condensed into an eight-part miniseries. The result was a cluttered story with many subplots and underdeveloped characters that were only loosely connected to the main plot. Each subplot had potential but fell short, leaving the story feeling empty and confusing. It was as if all the ingredients for a 5-star meal were there, but the chef ran out of time to throw it all together and serve it. The ending was particularly underwhelming – not too bad, just disappointingly dull. It failed to evoke strong emotions, good or bad, because there was so little to relate to.
