Narrative
A spellbound Agatha Harkness finds her freedom with the help of a teenage boy
Intrigued by his calling, she embarks on the trials of the Witches’ Road to regain her powers and uncover the teen’s motivations. Stars Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp and Ali Ann, along with showrunner Jac Schaeffer and executive producer Mary Livanos, share how they prepared for the Marvel series.
Ranch before the neighborhood was demolished
Exterior scenes of Westview were filmed on Blondie Street at Warner Bros. The set was previously used for WandaVision.
Agatha lives in the house used in the television series Bewitched (1964)
Edited in Marvel Studios: Assembled: The Making of Agatha All Along (2024). This fun WandaVision spinoff isn’t quite as original, but it’s smart, imaginative, and often quite funny, with a great cast.
There are a few notable twists, and I thought they were good, even the ones that have received criticism from others
The basic story involves Agatha trying to regain her powers, which involves assembling a coven in order to walk the “witch road” in an effort to get her heart’s desire – if you can overcome various eccentric challenges. Kathryn Hahn is excellent as her takeover of Agatha, who finds herself with a coven of witches who don’t really like or trust her – which isn’t surprising, given what we know about her from WandaVision.
Which transformation is your favorite?
Unfortunately, the very end didn’t work for me, which was disappointing, but overall it was a great experience that I highly recommend. Take a look at some of our favorite superheroes in costume and incognito.
