Dwight 'The General' Manfredi: I really don’t go to church
The opening credits sequence shows various photographic and painted views and landmarks of Oklahoma imposed on the New York City landscape: a statue of Sioux Indian Chief “Touch the Clouds”; wearing a war bonnet and bone choker (breastplate) set atop the Brooklyn Bridge, the Golden Driller statue set on the Statue of Liberty, Route 66 Western Gateway Arch, set on a Major Manhattan “Avenue”. In New York City, in the borough of Manhattan, there are several "Avenues" that are crossed by smaller numbered streets.

Likeable and relatively deep characters, a plausible plot, and tolerable pacing are the driving forces of this show. Stallone is fine as the main protagonist, but I really like Andrea Savage and her character, very nice performance.
My review makes the show sound average, however I rate it 8/10 because it’s a solid entertainer, not a television/cinematic masterpiece or tour de force
I really respect that Stallone isn’t trying to sound younger when his character, Dwight, honestly mentions his age and how it might affect his relationships with a younger woman. The cinematography and music are nothing to write home about, both are good enough to help keep the show entertaining, but don’t really add value or stand out.
