Scheme Portals & Beneficiary Support for MSOBCFDC

MSOBCFDC (Maharashtra State OBC Finance & Development Corporation)

Women beneficiaries of a self-help group, representing MSOBCFDC scheme portals built by Affix Center

Affix Center developed and supports the loan management and interest return system for the Maharashtra State Other Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation Ltd. (MSOBCFDC). The platform brings scheme portals, beneficiary registration, document submission, role-based review and reporting together in one connected service. Our team also helps beneficiaries use the portals and resolve their questions.

The problem: many schemes, many desks, one citizen

MSOBCFDC runs several schemes, not one. Each has its own eligibility rules, documents, financial steps and approval stages. Without a common system, every group involved faced friction:

  • Beneficiaries struggled to find the right form, upload the right papers and learn where their application stood.
  • District and head office teams chased files across paper, email and spreadsheets, with no single record of what was reviewed and what was pending.
  • Banks needed scheme and sanction details at the right stage, without repeated follow-up.
  • Management could not easily see scheme-wise progress across districts and affiliated corporations.

The solution: one connected digital estate

We built a family of focused portals on one shared core. Each scheme has a clear public entry point, while profiles, documents, access control and reporting are reused across all of them.

PortalPurpose
msobcfdc.inCore platform: beneficiary profiles, applications, documents, loan and interest return workflows, status tracking
directscheme.msobcfdc.inDirect Loan and 20% Seed Money: document scrutiny, bank steps, approvals, Letter of Intent
mahila.msobcfdc.inMahila Swayamsiddhi: women's self-help group applications and interest return
Affiliated corporation sites (e.g. sssavmu.msobcfdc.in)Corporation-specific scheme information and applications
dashboard.msobcfdc.inConsolidated scheme, beneficiary and fund views for authorised officials

How an application moves

  1. The beneficiary registers and enters personal details once.
  2. They choose a scheme. The form adapts to that scheme's rules.
  3. Required documents are uploaded with the application.
  4. District and head office users review eligibility and documents within their roles. Bank action is added where the scheme needs it.
  5. Clarifications, corrections and approvals are recorded before sanction, Letter of Intent, claim or interest return.
  6. The beneficiary tracks the status online instead of visiting the office.

Support after go-live

A portal only works if people can use it. Our team helps beneficiaries with registration and login, form filling, document upload, correction requests and status questions. We also investigate technical issues and update the applications as policies and forms change. Eligibility and sanction decisions stay with the authorised government and bank officials.

Built to scale

The modular design gives each scheme its own forms and workflow while sharing common building blocks such as profiles, document handling, access control and reporting. New schemes can be added on the same core. Role-based access and audit logs keep a clear record of who did what.

Value delivered

  • For citizens: a clear online route from registration to status tracking.
  • For officers: structured work queues with a recorded history of every decision.
  • For management: dashboards with a consolidated view of schemes and applications.
  • For adoption: hands-on support that helps beneficiaries complete the digital steps.
