Union Bank IT Infrastructure — Andheri East, Lila Business Park

Union Bank needed network planning, server setup, data migration and backup for critical areas of its office at Lila Business Park, Andheri East. The work had to be finished on a shortened timeline while critical operations, including the stock-market trading cabin, stayed online.

What we did

• Planned with the bank's IT Head. Together we designed an architecture for server and data migration and backup, so daily operations continued during the project.
• Trained the electrician on site. We explained the purpose and specifications of CAT-6 cabling, which improved the quality of all later work.
• Fixed faulty work. Our team worked in shifts on wire tracing, fixing and quality checks. Where earlier work was improper, we pulled wires from the patch panel and re-crimped and re-punched each port.
• Protected critical areas. We created backup for the trading room and integrated VOIP in the server room.
• Extended the network. The network was extended across offices over optical fibre.

Testing and handover

CAT-6, fibre and telephone connectivity were fully tested, and minor issues were resolved within one to two days. External consultants audited the work and confirmed that genuine materials and equipment were used. Every phase passed, and complete documentation was handed over to the bank.
